I cooked this last night for my toddler. I just thought of giving him a healthy treat for dinner instead of regular dal-roti-sabji :) and hurray this was a big hit. Hubby too loved it.
I have made it a little bland considering my kids taste but a lot of variations can be made accordingly.
Ingredients-
1) 2 cups cooked pasta. Cook the pasta as per the instructions on packet.
2) Oil for cooking. I have used Olive oil.
3) Finely chopped garlic- 5/6 cloves.
4) Finely chopped carrot- 1/4 cup
5) Finely chopped cabbage- 1/2 cup
6) Finely chopped capsicum- 1/4 cup
7) 1 small onion- vertically chopped
You can use any veggies of your choice. I have used the ones my kid likes to eat.
8) Oregano seasoning or any other seasoning available approx 11/2 tsp. Or you can simple use salt and pepper.
9) Grated cheese- 1/4 cup
Recipe-
1) Cook the pasta first because it normally takes 10-12 minutes. Also add 1 tsp salt and few drops of oil while cooking.
2) In the mean time, chop all the vegetables.
3) Heat oil in kadhai and add garlic followed by onion.
4) Let it turn slightly brown and then add carrot and capsicum. Vegetables which takes time to cook should be added first.
5) If the pasta is cooked, drain the hot water; wash it under cold water and keep it in the stainer .
6) Now add cabbage and stir the veggies for a minute or so.
7) Add pasta and seasoning and mix well.
8) Finally add grated cheese and mix again.
And pasta is ready :)
