Corn tikki

Its a perfect evening snack which can be enjoyed along with a cup of tea.
I had prepared it during rainy season when fresh corn was available. You can also use the frozen ones.

Hers the list of ingredients and recipe-

1) 2 cups boiled corn kernels
2) 1 boiled potato
3) Coriander powder-1 tsp
4) Cumin powder-1 tsp
5) Salt - as per taste
6) Finely chopped green chillies say 1 or 2 or red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
7) Finely chopped coriander leaves
8) Oil for shallow frying

Recipe-

1) Mix all the ingredients except oil in bowl and mash together to form a mixture.



2) Take a small ball and make a patty on your palm.


3) Grease the tawa/pan with oil and put the patties/ tikkis on it for shallow frying. You have to 
drizzle some oil while it is getting cooked..




4) After few minutes, check if the first side is turned golden brown in colour and then change the side.




5) Put the fried tikkis on kitchen tissue so that excess oil is soaked



Serve hot with green chutney or tomato sauce :)
