After my first successful baking experiment, cupcakes was on my to do list for a long time but I got to try it out only yesterday. First, I didn't have the cake moulds; after I bought those I couldn't get a free moment. But finally I managed to bake these yesterday after my toddler went for his afternoon nap :) And hurray this was a success too :)
Ingredients-
1) Refined flour (maida)- 1cup
2) Fine sugar- 1/2 cup
3) Vanilla essence- 11/2 tbsp
4) Butter (melted)- 1/2 cup
5) Baking powder- 1 tbsp
6) Milk - 3/4 cup
7) A pinch of salt
8) Oil for greasing
Recipe-
1) Preheat oven to 180C.
2) In a bowl, mix sugar,butter and vanilla essence and beat it till fluffy.
3) Add flour, baking powder,salt and mix again.
4) Then slowly add milk and keep mixing so it resembles a thick batter.
5) Grease the cake moulds with oil covering each and every corner. Place the mould on a baking tray and then pour the mixture till the moulds are 3/4 full.
6) Put it in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
After taking it out from oven, let it cool down completely before removing from moulds.
Vanilla cupcakes are ready :)
