Stuffed Capsicum

Capsicums stuffed with Indian spices and bengal gram flour.

Ingredients-

1) Bengal gram flour/besan- 1 cup
2) 3 medium sized capsicums
3) Dessicated coconut- 2 tbsp
4) 1 tsp each- chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, dried mango powder, sugar and salt
5) Oil



Recipe-

1) Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok and add gram flour. Roast it till the raw smell goes away; then add all the ingredients in point 4 above one by one mixing well.



2) Then add dessicated coconut.



3) Keep stirring so it doesn't get burnt. Then add 1 cup water to form a thick mixture as below.




4) Let it cool down completely. Cut off the stem of capsicum and make a vertical slit in each of them. stuff the besan mixture carefully.






5) Heat 3-4 tbsp oil in another wok and add the stuffed capsicums one by one.


keep turning them so that all sides are cooked properly.




6) While they are almost done, drizzle some salt over it and mix well. Cover and cook.
